The Gilmer-Upshur County Airport, was first dedicated on October 23, 1969. This was a day in which many contributed much of their time, efforts, inspiration and encouragement so that this addition to the industrial growth of our county could be made possible. The facility has served as a tool in bringing industry to this area and we have continued to encourage its use by local industry. |
Housed at Fox Stephens Field is the Flight of The Phoenix Aviation Museum
